It's funny, DSOTM just do to me what it used to. However, as an album I still prefer it and think it's the strongest out of those above.

There's a few tracks I like on some of the other albums, but that isn't enough to like the whole album unfortunately.

1973 was a good year considering it's the year of my birth. :)

Dark Side of the Moon. No surprise I suppose.

The least dated album cover of that year.

I play The Allman Brothers ~ Brothers & Sisters more than the the others combined so that's where my vote goes.

  10. DSOTM towers above the rest.

Not much here to my taste, although that is quite a roster of acknowledged 'classics'. A vote for Dark Side with a wistful nod to Houses of the Holy. Loved that record when I was younger.

  12. Another strong year for #1 albums. I went with Pink Floyd, but Elton John, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Allman Brothers and Jethro Tull all had strong albums too.

  13. A sentimental favorite of mine too. Love this album's dark mood.

I've probably listened to Yellow Brick Road more over the years but DSOTM gets more spins now.

From a release day relic to an enhanced CD remaster.

War edges out DSOTM. The World is still a ghetto isn't it?

Pretty good list here. I like it more than the 1972 list.

Dark Side of the Moon is an easy choice.

    My choice too.
Despite my favorite album, ever, it was actually a bit hard because of the other choices.

Amazing list ,so many great albums.
It's cool that they all managed to hit #1.

And unlike most of these album polls, I actually own a fairly good chunk of them: 10

The only ones I need are the Chicago, Tull and Harrison.
