Pete Townshend has used a Guild F-512-NT 12-string guitar on most solo and Who recordings beginning with 1971’s Who’s Next.

I love it!!! I absolutely love guitars!!! If I would have held on to all mine, I'd have about 30 of them by now.

    KEEP THE PHOTOS COMING!!!

It's not all about 6-strings, ya know! Let's get some room for MY instrument, the pedal steel guitar.

Lloyd Green with his signature model LDG which was played on THOUSANDS of sessions and heard on HUNDREDS (if not over a thousand) hit recordings.

Buddy Emmons with "The Blade" [IMG]

Pete Drake with the Sho-Bud he recorded many sessions with in the 1960s....it now sits at the Ernest Tubb record store in Nashville on lower Broad [IMG]

The only photo that I could find of Beck's 'Jazzercise' guitar. It's the one that's featured pretty prominently in the music video for 'Loser'.

I think I figured it out. Jonny Greenwood?

I think it only goes to 5. I think.

Just wondering, which are the Who recordings that have the 12 string?

I'd say that the Cloud is more famous.

As seen on the cover of Sign o the Times:
