  1. It is definitely worth it. The DVD's have the albums in hi-res stereo (24/96) and also lossy surround (DTS and Dolby Digital), and are a good alternative to the DVD-A's. Plus, many (but not all) of the rare Fagen tracks are on the bonus CD. The CD mastering is the same as the regular catalog releases.
     
  2. I've given The Nightfly (5.1 and stereo) and Kamakiriad (stereo) a listen, I must say it all sounds really good. I'm hearing things I've never heard before. The videos for some of the songs are nice to have as well. What I'm missing is nice booklets, all the liner notes, lyrics, photos and credits from the DVDs should have been included there instead of on the DVDs.
