It turns out she went to the same college I did (years after I graduated). They had an article about her in one of the alumni newsletters.

I had to Google it. They have impressive alumni.

And one Cassandra Peterson, better known as Elvira.

Add me to the list of the Flo haters. The mere sound of her voice sends me diving for the remote.

Ha! I found some Flo from Progressive and Erin Esurance "crossover" fan drawings...Where do they come up with the idea to draw that?

I get the feeling that her character is a contrived effort to portray Progressive as edgy. It's a bad effort to tap-in to the zeitgeist of twenty and thirty somethings.

I like 'Flo'. She is not bad at all on those commercials.

  13. Just type "flo" and "erin" in Google Image search and you'll find a coule of interesting things.

Are you saying the commercials are not effective? If so, I would disagree.

I just saw "Flo" (Stephanie Courtney) in "The Heartbreak Kid" with Ben Stiller, Stiller's character gets married and goes on his honeymoon to Cabo and meets the "woman of his dreams" and "Flo" is her sister or sister-in-law in the movie.

I'm almost positive I saw her on a recent episode of "Rules of Engagement" as a coworker of Audrey (if anyone watches the show), though there's no mention of it on IMDB. She's a good actress. Very funny in "The Heartbreak Kid"!

Thats the biggest reason I cant watch Fox (channel) except for a few Sunday cartoons, the commecials are mind-numbing stupid & twice as loud as the programs...commercials are mute during Family Guy

Aggravating just scratches the surface. I don't hit the switch, just go mute. The Geico guy is getting on my nerves too, especially the "Piggy" one!

Don't know if it was already mentioned, but the most irratating commercial on TV for me has always been the girl in that one for 1-800-DENTIST (referral service). Not sure if that is the right phone #, or even if all the commercials take place in an elevator, 'cause I immediately scramble for the remote when I even think it might be coming on. Luckily, it's not on as much now.

The commercial makes me sad when I see it because she looks a lot like my late sister.
