    You're welcome, Otoniel. :)

Scanning these CDs, I realized there are many more variations to matrix codes and letters in the inner rings than I originally thought. For instance, what I thought was the oldest CD I have (the Weather Report disc) did not have "Manufactured by CBS Sony Records Inc." (or any other letter) inscribed in the inner ring and had only three digits of number after the catalog number, like the one we usually see on Toshiba-EMI black triangle CDs.

I thought I knew much but it's going to take more time of collecting these discs to give the right rhymes and reasons to all this. :agree:

It sure is fun collecting CDs, isn't it? ;) :D

I just received an e-mail from an ebay seller....apparently I have also won a 35DP 45 Journey "Frontier" CD in addition to my 35DP 11 Boz Scaggs "Hits" CD :D

Slightly off topic, do we have a black-triangle CD picture thread?

  12. I'm not sure why everyone is posting their pics in a single post, but I'll continue the trend with what I've got, although it's not much...

Thanks Scott! Is my imagination or some of those are Gold tinted?

  19. The only one that's gold tinted is Pink Floyd 'Wish You Were Here'.

  22. Believe it or not, I found the sealed 38DC-10 (as well as the Yo-Yo Ma), a couple of months ago in a store for $8 each.
