Bill Evans OJC vs. XRCD vs SHM-SACD (Bill Evans Trio - Definitive digital versions?) *

Yes - I found a few of their SACDs on AC and ordered an Albert King SACD. Still haven't listened to it, but KG's mastering has yet to disappoint me. Of course the original CD of this with George Horn's mastering was pretty darn good, IIRC.

 

Yeah - the original WB CD is very good, but this SACD is terrific. Glad you like it.

 

Been a long while since I checked on this thread but figured I’d offer that I really like the Everybody Digs XRCD even with the over distortion in places. It has a really nice level of detail. I also picked up the VDJ of quite a few Evans titles and I absolutely love them all. Wish the other out of print XRCDs weren’t so expensive!!
