That's like $7.50 per cd!

 

I picked one up at that price from Newbury Comics and the set is 100% legit. Sadly just checked Amazon and their price shot back up to $139.99. I assume if they are still available you'll have to wait until next holiday season for the price to drop again.

 

Sorry to revive this thread but there's been a sudden price drop in the STEREO box set at Amazon.co.uk where, as of this moment (6pm on 30 December 2013), the price is £119.66. That's almost the cheapest it's ever been on Amazon.co.uk except for a freak price drop in May 2013 that was gone in a flash - other than that, the price has been steady at around £157 for a very long time now.

And if you're thinking, "Who in hell would still be in the market for a box set after all these years?" - I just bought one!

 

I had never gotten one either -- spent my money on the mono box in 2009 -- but a few weeks ago, with holiday prices in full swing, I jumped on one at Amazon.com for about $155. (It usually hovers around $200.) Now I see the price has dropped even MORE -- to $144:

I got a sealed MONO box off eBay six months ago for $53 incl. shipping, and it's not a Chinese counterfeit!

 

MMT Box set (blu ray, dvd, ep, booklet) back to $ 19.50 at amazon.

Are you sure that's not the regular DVD?

The deluxe set still seems to be over $60...

Just a word of caution -- I bought a stereo box about 6 months ago from a Marketplace seller, and it turned out to be a counterfeit -- and a really BAD one too. I got my money back, but it was just a big hassle and a huge disappointment after waiting over 3 years to get the thing. After that, I swore I'd only buy it again from Amazon itself.

 

I ordered, thanks to the notice found in this thread, and received my shipping notice today.

$23 and change -- a great deal for the deluxe box.
