Audio Fidelity Subscription Numbers

Well, if you consider some people will only sub to CD and some only to Vinyl and some to CD and Vinyl then you'll understand there is a separate CD # and a separate Vinyl # and they don't have to coincide with each other unless you specifically ask them to. I did the platinum sub for Vinyl and CD and my #'s are not the same. I'm sure I could have requested the same # but I don't care.

 

Just got an email from Heather:

CraigVC - #56 for 24K and #26 for vinyl, Platinum subscriber.

She said I could call them and pick a higher number that they have available for both CD and vinyl, but it's not that big of a deal for me so I stuck with what I got.

Hey another Wayne, and I am #237 !!! Though I am still thinking about switching to Platinum yet today !

 

I inquired about shipping to Canada a couple of weeks ago when I pre-orderd Alice and the Cars.

The price I was given was a lot less than $10.95, I was told it wasn't much more than the US mailing price which I believe is $3.50 for the first disc and $0.50 for each additional

Hmm...I specifically asked about Canadian shipping when I called today, and was told it was $10.95. That's a flat rate for mailing one or two CDs to Canada. Beverly said that $10.95 was their cost - AF isn't making any profit on shipping to Canada.

The $10.95 is for Priority Mail which they are recommending for tracking purposes.

The approx. $4.00 is for standard First Class Mail, no tracking.

 

OK, I did switch to Platinum ! I could have had #65, but I asked my Wife to pick a number while we were on the phone with AF. She picked 76, which was the year we were married ! I guess when you are 53, married 30+ years this is what you come up with The Platinum option has some cool things coming, so I figured what the heck. I told my Wife she could have the Alice Cooper panties that were coing with the CD's

I think that implies 'Platinum' membership for the 24K CDs only (versus vinyl).
