Got mine today and only had time to listen to side 1, no A/B with my other 4-5 versions.

First impression - great! You can crank this up and there is no distortion, just good clean music. Even Cloudbursting at the end of side one was rock solid sonically.

The mastering is what you would expect from Steve and Kevin - wonderful.

I know everyone wants to know how it compares to XXX. Sorry, maybe later this weekend. RUSH is here tomorrow!

It's $29.99 direct from Audio Fidelity, so I suppose it would depend on shipping costs which one was the cheapest place to get it...

I'm guessing AFs shipping is probably more than $0.39. Free 2-day shipping w Amazon Prime, too.

Good point. The only negative is amazon isn't shipping before October.

Mine showed up today. Looks cool, and sounds even better! Great work on the jacket from AF. I got #0082. I don't have the original LP or CD (actually my wife may have it around here somewhere), but later I might compare Running up that Hill to digital versions I have on a few comps.

Wooo hooo! got #71. The packaging is beautiful as is the marble vinyl. And kudos to AF for the amazing packing for shipping.
will listen asap...I've got the original Canadian pressing and have never liked the mastering...dull.

of course my review will be based entirely on what you all think of my equipment profile;)

Wow, do goosebumps count as a review?
First thing I noticed was the mud that they called 'drums' on the original is now so clean. With that out of the way the rest was just cake! You've captured KT's vocal enunciation without any sibilance which was inherent in the original Canadian pressings I have.
It's clean, vibrant and the vinyl is so nice you would think it was a cd. Highly recommended for any Bush fan! Major kudos to Steve and Kevin for an amazing job. Now bring on the rest of Kate's library!!!:goodie:

You made me look at your profile!

I'm expecting great things from this release - I have a UK copy to compare it with!

    Arrrgh! Where is mine?!?!?

sorry, Kate. sometimes I refer to her as 'KT' as in The KT Bush Band which, I believe she went by at some very early concert performances. There is also a 'KT' emblazoned on the crate on the Lionheart cover.

    I received mine yesterday (#19).

I haven't yet had a chance to listen to it though. If it sounds as good as it looks, it will be *fantastic*!
