Amazon.com has some CRAZY CD PRICES right now!!!

I think this 'mistake' is ending.. clicking through and the prices seem to be goig back to normal..
although I got what was in my cart through.

 

Are you kidding? Amazon is awesome for the music lover....

 

So now we play the waiting game... Fingers crossed they come through!

Congrats! That's where I would have been headed if I had more time.

 

Every cd I ordered I would have eventually got anyway. But it would have been spread out over the next 6-12 months. I was able to get them all in one shot!

That's why you GOTTA USE "One-Click Ordering"... no cart, no checkout process.

 

Funny that these mistakes (?) happen every so often on Amazon. You only have 1-3 hours max to take advantage. But, they definitely honor the deals for many, so it's not a scam or anything.

 

I think this was a price mistake. You can't sell a CD for 70 cents without taking a huge hit.

If this were anyone else but Amazon, I would say "don't get your hopes up because these orders will almost certainly be cancelled". But Amazon has honored price mistakes in the past - look at the Smith Boxed Set as a recent example. I think there's at least a fair chance that these will go through.

 

I know that stores have to honor stickered pricing even if it's a mistake. Do different rules apply to online vendors?

 

I don't have prime, so I was adding up to $25 of discs. As usual, I snoozed so I lose.

 

I seem to recall a thread from a couple of years ago, when Amazon did not honor the prices?

 

Like a mentioned earlier, my entire order (except for one Johnny Cash American CD) are showing up as "Shipping Soon". I'm hopeful that this means that Amazon is honoring the low prices.

 

bah... I had about $26 worth of good stuff in my cart. shipping was $49 to Toronto. Needless to say I cancelled the order.

 

58 items, including a few legacy editions for $55 and free shipping... that was a good morning. I guess I should really go to work now.

 

OH wait! I was able to score 7 titles for $16 after all (w/shipping). I wanted more though!
