Amazon.com has some CRAZY CD PRICES right now!!!

My order finally went through after 7+ attempts (I did remove a few items)...keep at it!

 

Perhaps it's the Iranian hacker playing with the Amazon site Denial of Service? Too many orders?

 

I placed another order for several of the Phil Spector cds. Crystals, Darlene love etc. All were $1.40 each.

 

I just ordered 60 CDs and figured out how to fight illegal downloads.

 

I think I managed to finally place my order of 30 items. We'll see.

Not quite as good as the famous "box set blowout of October 2009", but still fun.

 

IMHO the shipping charges barely make these a deal. I can find these in the used bins for less.

 

Seems to be almost exclusively Sony/Legacy products, so maybe it's some sort of promotional push and/or attempt to move excess inventory.

 

We'll see if this one has a happy ending...

The thing that makes me think this is real and won't be canceled is that there are quantity limits.

 

I thought about buying a bunch of Elvis in Memphis legacy editions just for their slip cases so I could put them on my more recent Elvis legacys....but that's just crazy...or is it?

I quickly ordered the Remains, Robert Johnson and Dennis Wilson (thanks for the tips). Had some DVDs in my cart already so qualified for free shipping.

The re-pressings of the Legacy Editions don't have the slipcases.
