    Thanks Phil,

Bit of a shock, yet not surprising at the same time.

But no worries, I was actually relieved.

Never happy in that job with that company.

Had been seriously contemplating a change so this is my chance to do just that with a nice chunk of money in my pocket.

Enough $$$ for a trip to LA for this event :righton:

Too bad the list was full before I could put my hand up.

Oh goodness, I wish I'd seen this thread sooner! I'm available whenever, and this is one of my all time favorite albums. Matter of fact, it was the first album I ever owned-I won it in a spelling bee, believe it or not. Looked at the cover and thought "what the heck???" Took it home, spun it up, and just...loved it to death!

What's the deal about the cover? I've never seen a different one...

Dang it, skipped a day and a half of forum reading (unusual for me), and of course Steve throws out an invitation to a session. This sounds awesome! Putting my name in for the standby list just in case.

Steve, there's no way I could get there to see everything but you are a generous guy for offering this to 4 lucky people. It's a really nice thing to do.

Alice's thumb is pointing out in a rather obscene manner, later versions of the album cover have his thumb airbrushed over. There's even a fairly rare version of the album cover that cuts the bottom half of the picture off.

This is a fantastic idea. Congrats to the Alice Cooper fans who are "in."

If AF ever miraculously gets R.E.M.'s Murmur, and does this with it, I will definitely want in.

The webmaster will contact the candidates and alternates with this information plus the address and phone number. If you do not hear from him, send a "contact us" message to the Webmaster..

I'll post here the final four SH Forum member names when the W'master gives them to me.

We will see you at RTI/AcousTech next week! 11:00.

If this works out, we can do it again in a month or two so don't worry if you missed out..

Have a great session Steve. Keep Toronto in mind for an upcoming session. We have some fine studios still, I think, not sure. Those master tapes travel well and can be safely stored in the overhead compartment of most planes.

There is also the chance that Bob Ezrin could pop in during the session cause he visits his hometown every now and then. However, for this session I would have to include the following essential information,

    She had that
    Camarillo brillo
    Flamin out along her head,
    I mean her mendocino bean-o
By where some bugs had made it red..

Is there anything preventing one of the chosen few from videotaping some of the session?

Folks.....I have been there. It's WAY cool.

The mastering suite is awesome, the tour of RTI is really fun, and Camarillo is just plain beautiful. On top of that, your hosts are the best! You'll have a day to remember. Wish I could be there (again!).
