Nice album. My Polydor pressing (West German, I think) sounds excellent.

I've got the ABBA Greatest Hits V. 2 LP on German Vinyl. My absolute favorite ABBA disc for sound quality. Don't really like any of the CDs as much.

    Welcome, Dexter.

It's actually "Super Trouper" that was issued on cd by Atlantic, not "Voulez Vous."

You're probably right...and that makes it all the more incredible and appalling that the Atlantic cd's sound better than what's come out since.

Haven't played anything from it in quite a while, but I think the mastering is similar (if not the same) as the original "Gold" cd. Not the worst sounding Abba out there but not the best, either.

I was actually listening to it over the weekend. It's not bad - its much better than the current remasters, a little better than the original Abba Gold and on occasion better than the original cds.

Its sound is rather trebley though. But its the only place where you can get the unreleased song medley!

Sounds like the Tretow only Abba Gold CD. Jon Astley was not involved with this set.

I have the Atlantic The singles (first 10 years), TYFTM box and the new JA Abba Gold. I thought the Singles was a bit muddy on the early stuff. Clearer on the box set and too clear and louder on the JA Abba Gold.
