Doesn't the first couple minutes of Side 2 have a bunch of annoying random start/stops including something like "...God is an overwhelming responsibility" or something like that? Whichever part that is. I remember trying to edit that out once.

Agree with you, the album would be pretty flawless without that part. Maybe Zappa's fans will disagree with me, but I find it out-of-context there.

    The Bends-Radiohead
    Exile on main st-Stones
    Pump-Aerosmith
    Out of the Blue-ELO
Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots-The Flaming Lips

IMHO, but changes everytime I hear another classic album!!

Abbey Rd is creeping in the top five as I have started listening to it again

Great list. I'm with you 95% of the way. Axis is one of my all time favorite LP's, but is it still perfect with She's So Fine? I'm not saying it's a terrible song; I still listen through the whole LP side without lifting the tonearm, but with lyrics like these I just can't agree it's perfect. Without this song it would have topped my list...

She walks with a bell-clock round her neck
So the hippies think she's in with time
    Time...
Her hair glistens like robins on a deck
Branches attack me from her neck
