The DVD tracklisting is what the CD tracklisting should have been.

Actually why is Bad Girl not on the DVD? Have Walken or Fincher spat their dummies out or something?

As is the Everybody video which is taken from (I think) a TV performance.

I'm definitely surprised the "Crazy for You" and "Into the Groove" videos are there. Usually videos that consist of movie clips get the boot, often because of rights issues.

So I was wrong about those. They still suck, though! :D

Any reason to hold onto the other music video DVDs?

Vogue MTV? Love don't live here? Substitute? Fever? Playground?

I had distant hope the unreleased 2003 music video of the first single would be included.

You nailed it. Too much missing on the CD's for my liking.

2 cd's cant hold all that material, 3 cd set would have. a well priced 3 cd set would have sold very well IMO...and is a missed opportunity IMO...

This is the press release announcing the track listing above:

Interesting news about "Justify My Love". Id love to have seen all of her vids included. There are some strange exceptions like "American Life" and "Dress You Up". Oh well. Im still very happy overall with the tracklisting for both CD and DVD.

If it were a 3-CD set @ $20, this would be a phenomenal seller. Not that it won't be as is, mind you, but this would make it even better.

I have no Madonna music in my collection (I got rid of the Immaculate Collection a while back), but I'l be picking up the DVD and ripping the audio!

Sounds like a plan. The DVD certainly is a decent best of. I cant wait to get it and to see if they have included any extras and to see if they have remixed it for 5.1 and have done a blu-ray. The audio on that could be very cool if so.

Too bad she doesn't seem to like "Angel" or "Causin' A Commotion". I do.

They are great tracks but its a 2CD comp. Its impossible to fit everything we would all like on it. Those two are great tracks but its hard to argue the quality of what is on Celebration. Especially given that it is a complete-career overview rather than just picking an era. I think it does a pretty damn good job all up :) In fact I have just compiled it in iTunes and have been playing it through to see how it works. I like it :)

A one-disc version just can't cut it with a catalog as deep as Madonna's. Options should have been 2-dics and 3-discs!

Okay the Madonna video for "Celebration" is a free download on iTunes. Too bad it is one of her most boring videos yet. And if you pre-order the Deluxe version of "Celebration" you get an exclusive new track, "It's So Cool

It looks like the 1 disc version is pretty useless to casual fans since we have all of those older hits on the Immaculate Collection----except for 'Dress You Up.'

I guess I'll be springing for the 2 disc version after all. I just hope it sound good.

Belgian news sites are reporting that because of the 2005 plagiarism ruling by a belgian court, the "Celebration" album cannot be sold with the track "Frozen" in Belgium.

Not only will "Frozen" not be available on the belgian Itunes version of the album (which is very easy to implement), there will also be a specific CD pressing without "Frozen", only for the belgian market.

Of course, belgian buyers can simply order the complete CD in online stores abroad.

But others are speculating that there will be no CD release in Belgium at all:

Does any one know who this compilation will be mastered by? Surely we will be battling the loudness war on this one.
