I found this in the cd shop tonight, 4 cd set of Phil Spector's Back to Mono 1958-1969 boxset. I bought it for $21 CDN. I wonder why it was so cheap? It says 1991 on the back, I don't know if this is an original cd boxset or a reissue? Somebody said they reissued it, but I didn't see any other date than 1991 on the back. It's on ABKCO. It has a 98 page booklet too.

it's a price drop...same stuff as the original release...is it worth it? Of course...nothing revelatory, but essential Phil...

Of course this is worth buying. This is all essential material to any 60s pop music collection.

Definitely worth it for the price it's at now. Worth it for "A Christmas Gift For You..." alone.

I don't believe the sound of the discs is that widely praised around here, but it's pretty much all you're going to see, since Phil supposedly oversaw the remastering for the set.

YES!!! Get it from Deep Discount CD for $14.95 (+free shipping). I bought a second one. A great bargain!
