I really thought this would be a closer contest.

 

My favorite's still in: This Year's Model. Fantastic album!
Pity the man acted like an ******e in that period. I saw him in Brussels that year. He played just 45 minutes and it was over. He just wouldn' come back.
That, plus that stupid remark about Ray Charles.

Glad he matured soon.
But his music was never better than on that second album!

This Years Model.

Armed Forces is my favorite album of his.

 

Voted to boot "Armed Forces" - it's not even in my EC top five!

 

He did the same thing in Seattle. Short set with no encore. And then the big bright lights were aimed at the audience who were driven out. Incredible chutzpah.
The year before, EC played a nice long show for a dollar!

I voted to keep Armed Forces. To me, it's his Born To Run: all sound and energy.

These are tough choices to make!
