What is so rare about Mannish Boy? In addition, where the heck is I Think I'm Going Mad and Cook Cook Blues? Those tracks should have made it before the remixes of Harlem Shuffle and Mixed Emotions.

True but at least they're mixes. What's so rare about "Wild Horses"?

Is the version of Miss You on this collection the 12" extended version? If so, that alone would make it worth having!

Ditto "If I Was A Dancer" - both are found on Sucking in the Seventies.

Was it on the Stripped album? If not, it is one of the non-album b-sides. If it was on Stripped, then it is probably from another tour and appeared as a b-side on one of the many CD5's they have released over the last fifteen years.

D@#n straight, I like it better than the regular version.

It's not so rare anymore as it currently appears on the Don't Stop CD5. However, it is welcomed on a regular Stones release (besides the out-of-print Flashpoint + Collectibles).

    The Flashpoint/Collectibles CD has:

    01. Rock And A Hard Place II 07:08
    02. Miss You IV 08:36
    03. Cook Cook Blues 04:13
    04. Everything Is Turning To Gold II 04:08
    05. Winning Ugly VI 07:54
    06. Beast Of Burden (Live) 05:13
    07. Fancy Man Blues 04:57
    08. Harlem Shuffle VI 06:22
    09. Wish I'd Never Met You 04:45
    10. Mixed Emotions IV 06:12

I assume there will be some duplication.

Although the extended version clocks in at 8:36, the full unedited take (available on bootleg)is nearly twelve minutes long.

could it be the version from the original Hot Rocks pressing? The original pressing had a different version of Brown Sugar (with Eric Clapton) and Wild Horses. Scroll down in this link to "Who Is Shelley"

It's also missing the dedicated mono mix of "Sway" and the NME flexidisc release "Exile on Main St. Blues."

I've got to say, when I saw the title of this thread I got real excited. I've been waiting for something like this from the Stones for a loooong time. That being said, the tracklisting looks VERY disappointing, considering what it could have been.

Oh well, I'll be picking it up anyway!

The Stones could easily put out a box of this kinda stuff. They have so much junk in the can. Well, wish in one hand.......... :D

Well, then it would need a parental advisory sticker for at least one track recorded in 1970...
