Well I took some new shot, my rack is almost empty, I am waiting for my shanling stp-80 to arrive so that will fill up some space. I love my system, and I hope you will enjoy looking at it. Please bear with the shape of my room, as we moved not to long ago and my room is yet to be painted.

And when my rack was full a month ago (everything sold for upgrades yet to come)

RE: photo #1. If you put a match to your socks you can watch the lint burn. That's what I was doing when I was 15. Nice system.

BTW I should add that there wasn't web design or eBay when I was 15 (or computers, video games, cel phones. etc...) No. We had to make our own fun. Ever hear of a "Blue Angel"? :)

I don't think my mom would be too happy if I started to light my socks on fire, but I'll be sure to tell her you told me to  ahh just kidding

You only have to burn the lint off, not burn the house down. Actually, you don't want to do that or they will look too good and you won't the new cushy ones for Christmas.

Wow! When I was 17 my set-up consisted of AR-3's, an AR amp and an AR turntable with a Shure cartridge. I've got a HK 430 too---also a HK 630. Love their amp sections. I see what looks like a turntable at the top of the bottom photo. What is it?

    Hi,

Nice equipment! When I was 16, I got a Fisher 201 for Christmas in 1980. I had a Garrard 40B record changer and a pair of old KLH 24 speakers for my first system. Next February, I purchased a Dual 1225 in mint shape with a new Shure M70EJ cartridge from the local high-end salon's used table. They usually let me have gear at cost due to being a special needs person on a limited budget. This modest setup start a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
