Target Cd's

I have held off asking this, since everyone else on this board seems to know about it, thinking I could figure it out on my own, but since I can't, here it goes:

What is a "target" cd? What is important about them?

I had no idea what they were when I first started browsing this board also. I thought they couldn't be talking about CDs purchased at the local Target stores... that's weak.

If you have CDs purchased new or used when they first came out in the 80's, you should read up on it and check your collection before sellin' them.
