The Doors Soft Parade - EAC readings are exactly the same

    As mentioned elsewhere, I thought the 1999 Soft Parade "remaster" sounded very close to the CD I purchased in the early 90s. I just ripped them both to my computer using EAC, and EAC returned the exact same information for both:

    Peak level - 90.3%
    CRC 8C081134
    Checksum 911ED204

    So, does this confirm that these are indeed the same mastering? In other words, I paid $15 last year for the exact same product I bought in 1992? :realmad:

    Why not go to the tools menu and compare the bits in the wav files?
