    That's them, Bob! Thanks! The Good Guys and WABC's All-Americans (with Cousin Brucie and Scott Muni) were tripping all over each other to get the latest Beatle Scoops in those days...not to mention Murray the K on WINS....wow, feel like watching "First US Visit" right about now....

    That first photo of the rehearsal reminds me of a story I read recently (can't remember where I read it) about how The Beatles arrived for rehearsals and Ringo discovered they had sent the wrong color drums to the Sullivan Theatre ...The correct color was ordered from a local music shop(name was in the article,can't remember it either) and the new set arrrived in time for the show...this picture backs up the story....great photo Steve!!!!!!!

    thanks for the photos Steve. Are these published anywhere? There are so many Beatles "picture" books, I flip through them in the bookstores, but have yet to purchase any.

    I'm sure these are published..

    I believe the book is "THE BEATLES ARE COMING!" by Bruce Spizer. Not 100% sure though..

    I wonder if someone can explain the layout of the Ed Sullivan Theater in those photos, having been there for Letterman I don't recall the stage being so low...or is that the balcony and is there an audience behind all of the people in standing in front of the Beatles...Probably a stupid question, but....
