OK: I don't think we've done this one before.

What I am looking for here is album titles that are not also song titles but are instead lyrics from songs either on that particular album or perhaps from other albums entirely.

I can think of two from the fine catalog of Shawn Colvin. There is no song called "Fat City" on the album of the same name but it's instead a lyric from the wonderful song "Round of Blues" from that same disc. Then on her Grammy Award winning song "Sunny Came Home" she sings the line "It's time for a few small repairs, she said" and of course that song is from the album "A Few Small Repairs".

So how 'bout it? Any others?
    Thanks!

    Peace-
    Norm

Anne Richmond Boston's "Big House Of Time". I can't think of the song right off the top of my head.

Grateful Dead - "Wake Of The Flood" (opening line in "Here Comes Sunshine")

Van Morrison - "Common One" (from Summertime In England) and "Veedon Fleece" (from You Don't Pull No Punches.....)

Roy Orbison "Mystery Girl" (from She's a Mystery To Me - one of Roy's all time best ever songs IMHO right up there with Running Scared, Crying, In Dreams, but I digress)

    many more but I'm tired....

    Neat idea Norm!

From the tuneful Sarah Harmer... All Our Names is a lyric from the very fine song 'Dandelions and Bullet Holes'.

Austin's Trish Murphy... Rubies On The Lawn is from 'Vanilla Sky'

Elvis is the king of this. He has said that he doesn't like to have "title songs" on his albums because that puts too much focus on the one song. So he does those "sorta" title songs like the ones you cited. Another example is "Now there's a tragic waste of brutal youth" from "Favourite Hour" and an almost example is "She's last year's model" from "I Don't Want to go to Chelsea".

I know compilation albums probably don't count, but how about the Doors' Weird Scenes Inside The Gold Mine, or the Allmans' Road Goes On Forever?
