Jefferson Starship 'Platinum & Gold Collection' A Real Winner

Jefferson Starship 'Platinum & Gold Collection RCA/BMG HERITAGE 82876 50901 2 Mastered by Dennis Drake at the Music Lab, Morganville, NJ 2003

I bought this along with several others including another Denis Drake Platinum & Gold Mastering of Jefferson Airplane that I haven't listened to yet.

I put on the Starship disc to listen to for the first time "in the background" but found that I was riveted to my seat for the total duration of the disc. The sound was great and I had forgotten about the fantastic precision drumming along with everything else this band had.

I've never had too much luck with "Bargain Discs" but this series is proving the exception through this and the Gladys Knight & The Pips that I reported on yesterday. I'm really looking forward to the 'Airplane' disc.

At $7.99 CAN I find it almost unbelievable. If you like this music it's worth checking it out.
