New SHM-SACDs for July: Black Sabbath S/T + Volume 4

This is good news, however the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was only offered in a jewel case and not the gorgeous cardboard sleeve like so many other SHM-SACD's so I passed.

I was hoping for Black Sabbath-Self Titled but I still wish we'd get TRex-The Slider first.

Mine came in a cardboard sleeve just like all my other SHM-SACDs.

Really looking forward to getting the Black Sabbath discs. The mastering has been excellent on the last two. I hope they don't forget Sabotage.

 

Awesome news! After these all I need is Sabotage to round out my Sab collection on SACD.

Ditto on SBS. The packaging is like all the other SHM SACDs.

Hoping S/T and Vol 4 will be done as well as MOR or SBS and not like Paranoid which I found to be downright vile.

Would be very nice to have a definitive s/t on 1 disc.

I do not think that any of the SHM SACDs ever came in a digipak.

Are you sure you weren't looking at the SHM-CD instead of the SHM-SACD? I have both, and only the SHM-CD is in a jewel case.

 

Unfortunately it looks like no SHM-SACDs are coming out in June. They seem to be into doing a bands full catalog (Queen,Stones, Sabbath, Bill Evans, etc) lately instead of single releases as they did with Pentangle, Free, Wishbone, etc. It's too bad as it was nice to get those surprise SACD titles. I am looking forward to the Sabbaths but wish they did some surprise choices too in order to mix things up.
