Amazon $10 gift card for $5 on 3/19/12. I just saw this on a Boston news channel and picked one up. I was hoping I could buy $100 worth but the limit is one gift card per household. Still worth it to save $5 on my next SACD purchase :).

This should be in the coupons section. Thanks for the tip.

I did not realize there was a coupons section :o. Hopefully a Mod will see my mistake and move the thread over there.

Thanks! Glad it's not in the coupon section, because I can't see it as a lowly noob.

I didn't know there was a coupons/deals section. How many posts do we need to make before we can access this section of the Forums?

UPDATE - Thanks for clarifying that Atari265278!

Done and done! This plus the points I've been earning with my Amazon card lately might mean a significant Amazon purchase in my future. :D

Quick turnaround via email, too. (I was hoping it wouldn't be something lame where the fulfillment is by postal mail...!) I ordered and had my gift code number, via email, in an hour or less.

Amazon is clearly making a push to have more people sign up for their "Amazon Local" competitor to Groupon, et al.

What's silly, though, is that I signed up for Amazon Local months ago, but I didn't respond to an offer quickly enough so they proactively stopped sending me daily reminder emails. Dumb move, because maybe if they kept sending them to me, I would've eventually seen an offer that I wanted to respond to. Maybe this time, now I have responded to an offer, their system will keep sending me daily offers from now on.

    Craig.
