Well, here it is ... a complete overview of the previous polls. You don't have to search no longer for one specific poll. Just click the links. Please participate in every poll to get reliable (wish)lists.

Just show Universal Music Group Japan that we're interested in more titles from different decades in different genres.

Your support is much appreciated off course!

Be great if even a fraction of those albums are released as SHM-SACDs!

Seems like they want to continue in 2010 so that's great news.

I also figured out at the Universal shm-sacd site that they prefer 2 ch only, to avoid compression (that's what google translate says).

Gotta give you credit...you've sure spent a lot of time on this. Lets hope the work pays off and they listen to your input when you package it up and send it over.

It took a whole weekend. Every album that comes out of the list would make me happy. Off course their "main target group" is Asia. But I think, there's not that much difference between Europe, USA and Asia concerning 60s and 70s music.

Nowadays music is something different. If I take a look at the charts of the US or even our neighbour countries. Sometimes they all look totally different except a few artists (Lady Gaga etc.)

I'll hope they won't throw it away immediately (the results), and read it at least once.

It's great that they're asking the customers what they would like to see. European and US record companies won't do that these days.

I've sent many letters and e-mails to EMI, Sony BMG,... etc. but never got any answer. Even not an automatic standard reply.

Have you thought about asking one of our Japanese speaking members to write a little 'title page' memo for you in japanese? It could get their attention more than an English one would...even though the results would be in English perhaps they'd give it more than a glance if there was a paragraph in japanese writing to explain what your package is and that it represents not just your opinion but many peoples.

Kick! Today seemed very inspiring ... Many new votes.

If you haven't voted yet, this is your chance.

The good news is, some of the titles in the Polls will "already" be released November 24th (Free - Fire And Water, Traffic, Elton John,...).

A big thank you to Universal Japan for doing such a great job!
