I bought the Reo Speedwagon "Live: You Get What You Play For" cd a few years ago. The record company omitted 2 songs Garys Guitar solo and one of my favorites Little Queenie. They need back and to remaster it and make it a double cd with some extra live tracks. I know there have been other cds that they have omitted songs . I think I remember when Bob Dylan's Blonde On Blonde first came out they made it a single cd and omitted songs. I believe they corrected that huge blunder and released the full album on 2 cds.

Original pressings of Prince's 1999 don't have DMSR.

Zappa's Fillmore East – June 1971 doesn't have the second half of Willie the Pimp.

First pressings of the Kinks ONE FOR THE ROAD omitted "20th Century Man", one of the best tracks on the album!

And on a lighter note, the first issue of the Osmonds Christmas album omitted a handful of tracks.... can't remember which ones...

This album needs an expanded release. There weren't many more popular tapes in the cars of Midwestern teen boys in the late 1970s.

Original issue of Pat Metheny's 80/81 tossed out the entire side three!

It was later reissued as a double, complete.

Agree with this totally. It wasn't just midwestern teen boys. A very underrated Live album.

...and All The World's A Stage did not have What You're Doing on it.

The remasters added them both back.

Bowie's Never Let Me Down removed a track on its 2nd pressing onwards I think..was it Too Dizzy?...I read DB was embarrassd about the lyrics..?

David Sylvian's Gone to Earth 1st press is edited down from the 2LP and
    missing several tracks.

Love and Rockets 1st press of Seventh Dream of Teenage Heaven misses out the LP's If There's a Heaven Above and substitutes a total remix of it.

Heart's Greatest Hits/Live from 1980 omitted 3 tracks from the original double LP to fit it all on one disc. It was also renamed to simply Greatest Hits even though most of the live material was still there (only one live track, their cover of "Unchained Melody", was among the cut songs)

The CD of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "Pack Up The Plantation - Live!" omits both "I Need To Know" and "You Got Lucky." Both songs are included on the LP, cassette and VHS, I believe.

The original "More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies)" had an edited version of "Tell Me," but it's never seen the light of day on CD. LAME!!! :realmad:

And Tusk had the edited version of "Sara". I really hate it when record labels do stupid $hit like this.
