Made a cool find recently and thought I'd share. I'm a big Fanny fan and recently picked up the 7" of "Changing Horses", a song from their first record. It turns out the version on the single is a totally different mono mix than the stereo one on the album, and was not included on the box set of their (in)complete recordings of that era. The guitar part is different and the vocal sounds like it was sung by Nicky Barclay whereas the one on the album sounds to me like June Millington.

I still like the album version better, but it was certainly a pleasant surprise to discover a recording of one of my favorite bands I had not heard before.

Hey, zarkon33  is this the US WLP 45 or the US stock 45 on Reprise?
