Beatles Box Sets Price Watch (Part 2)

So yeah.... uh can't wait until these are like $49.99 at Cost Plus. Then I can afford to buy one!

 

Mono boxes still available from bestbuy (also will be in-store), tower records, I'm sure others. Didn't bother to check.

 

Maybe someone should email this to that North American Capitol sales rep lady?

 

I placed my Amazon order on July 10th so I should get mine. If I don't cancel it. Also ordered from B&N. The sweating begins.

Are you referring to the so called email from EMI? I wondered about the validity of that myself.

 

It would be a bloodbath if EMI/Apple limits this mono box. Could they be that stupid after seeing all the pre-orders?

 

According to a manager at J&R here in NYC, there will be plenty of both boxes on hand 9/9/09,

No, but from past experience, my guess is they will be competitive with Amazon on the day of release. I also have a feeling they will be crowded that morning.

 

And they've taken it out of my gold box. It was there a few hours ago.

 

Same here. I hope they actually process these in the order received. I have another order with Music Direct as a backup.

 

Someone posted a link to the mono box on the Japanese Amazon site on the other thread.....it was $703 , but that too is now listed as "not available".

I clicked on your link and the little box on the bottom definitely says "Sold Out".

I pre-ordered the MONO set on Amazon.com in mid-July.

If they can't fill it----they'd better notify me before the street date.

If I do get it (and it does end up being scarce)----I owe a few thank you's to this site.
