    I read somewhere back that such a lathe would naturally make a superb transcription table - certainly would be a talking point :) Could never do it, though.

    I have absolutely no dog in this hunt, but I am curious as to how difficult it would be to convert such a lathe back to an 82?
    Feh. A waste of a good lathe, I would say. There are horror stories out there of people who have stripped down perfectly good SP-02s for use as turntables...
