Audio Fidelity Subscription Numbers

I thought we could have a running list of numbers. Maybe a Gort can make this a "sticky."

Please list you ID, AF number, and type. I'll go first.

By the way, numbers 1 - 10 are being held by Marshall for "internal use" and numbers 11 and 12 were "snatched up" by a couple of lucky people who signed up early when AF was testing the web site.

 

What is your ID# - is it my Hoffman Board ID? Why put that in my post since you can see it whenever I post.

Heather at AF said the phone have been ringing off the hook today.

If I understand correctly, last week Heather informed me that numbers 11-111 would be reserved for "Platinum" members.

So if I understood her correctly, that's only 100 "Platinum" members. Someone please correct me if you've heard different.

 

You are the first "24K Club" subscriber. I bet if you never open any of your discs you'll be able to sell the set at a premium.

I'm happy to participate, even at a premium, if it keeps those SH-mastered titles flowing. As fans of good-sounding music, we're really fortunate that Audio Fidelity is up and running again.

 

Scott, numbers 11-210 are reserved for "Platinum" members (200 max). This is documented on the AF website.

Does this mean Audio Fidelity is using numbers twice if they have a vinyl only to match with a 24K cd only order?

 

Just talked to Audio Fidelity and they informed me that I have the Platinum Membership #19 for the 24K cds and the #19 vinyl is going to wgriel. This seems to possibly contradict "We’re only offering 200 Platinum Memberships in this Exclusive Club. That’s it, that’s all." I really don't mind as long as I get my cds, but it seems strange to me.

 

Well, I guess they were assuming that platinum members would get both the 24K and the vinyl. Quite a few folks are just getting the 24K CDs, so that leaves quite a bit of numbered vinyl available. For all I know I might be the only person getting vinyl only, so there may not be much more that 200!

 

Meterman, when I submitted for a Platinum subscription via the website, I requested #16 for both subscriptions. I also requested the next lowest number if my desired number was not available. After making the $50 payment and emailed my credit card info, Heather replied back that I was awarded #16 for the vinyl subscription and #36 for the 24K CD subscription.

Since I didn't asked for the same number on both subscriptions, I replied back that I was taking the numbers that were assigned. I'm happy with my numbers, especially the vinyl one
