I just got this CD recently from eBay for a decent price ($27).

All I can say is, WOW! Steve, you did a fantastic job on this release. I wish all newer albums could sound this good! Bonnie's distinctive, slightly raspy voice is so clear and clean it sounds like shes in the room. The drums have an awesome punch, the dynamics are out of this world.

What a great CD! :righton: :D

Wow is right! The regular CD & the DVD-A versions don't even come close!

Oh yeah! It's a pleasure from beginning to end. A good recording to begin with, Steve's mastering and sprinkling of pixie dust provides a good 'ear massage' when listening!

I have the LP and it is filled with that tubey magic that the regular issue CD doesn't have.

    Heads up Toronto members.
There's a copy of the DCC of "Luck Of The Draw" at Sonic Boom (Bloor and Bathurst) right now in Bonnie's section for a reasonable price.
Check it out if you're so inclined.
    Great store; they guarantee everything!

(By the way; excellent album and one of Bonnie's best)

Great disc, and the only way to get Delbert McClinton on DCC. Love his vocals on "Good Man, Good Woman".

Bumping this thread because I just played this and DCC Nick of Time today. I am amazed at the fidelity, detail and beauty in both disks. Whenever I pull them out I never can play them just once. Steve, thanks for the excellent sound!
