Van Morrison - It's Too Late To Stop Now - Is the Polydor remaster "expanded"?

This subject came up in another thread but since this is such a great album, it deserves its own thread.

Does the 1997 Polydor remaster of It's Too Late To Stop Now contain any material that was not part of the original Warner Brothers CD release? I only own the WB CD so I've no idea if the Polydor is the same or not. If they are different, please list specific examples.

Those times agree (within a second or so) with the ones I posted in the original thread. The listing at the Van Morrison Web Site (http://www.harbour.sfu.ca/~hayward/van/discography/toolate.html) lists the track lengths as shorter.

I think I now remember where I put my original WB CDs, so if no one else beats me to it I'll probably be able to do an A/B comparison tonight.

Interesting. So are the significantly shorter times listed on the web site for the original vinyl?

 

It was common during the vinyl era to list the time of the actual songs and not the applause or introductions, so you may be right.
