I'm curious, is there any silence between "Gimmie Shelter" and "Love In Vain" on the original UK Decca vinyl? My original US London vinyl pressing has a tiny split-second of silence, and the 2002 remaster has even less, if any at all. The old London CD has about six seconds in between songs (plus "Gimmie Shelter" fades out a split-second too early). So what does the original Decca vinyl do in this case?

There is 4 or 5 seconds between songs.

FWIW, I believe the SACD reissue team discovered that that there virtually no gaps between songs on the original master tape when they found the tape during the SACD reissue project. Any pauses on the Decca release (and any other previous release) was inserted during mastering.
