Heya,
I need some hard info. Can anybody tell me at what EXACT time (EDT) the new song available is and from where? I have a long meeting beginning at 1:00 EDT and would love to hear it before I have to go. Any chance of that happening? I'm VERY likely to be distracted throughout my meeting knowing that new Macca bits will be streaming across the Internet without me. (I know, I know... My WIFE thinks I need help too. )Thanks, C

So far it looks like the radio stations really are the only ones who have it. One member on pm.com did report it being played on a NYC radio station. He said that he liked it and it was uptempo.
I'm going to call a Buffalo, NY radio station to see if they'll play it - they pride themselves on being a "real" radio station where the music matters. |

They played it!
I'm not sure what I think yet...not an immediate love for me, but I think it was catchy and I could see it growing on me. |

I tried to access a NY station but they wouldn't allow me to do it due to "licensing"... |

I guess I'm just anti-establishment. I'll wait for the unofficial thread.

"Ever Present Past" is a great track, and the hook will stay in your head long after you've heard it. If I can get a :30 clip up on my site before I have to leave this morning, I'll post it.

I did listen to it!
Sounds great...30 seconds is a cool treat but it fades out sooooo quickly! |

It sounds pop, but I want Paul on radio again. It's hard to have a "global" opinion the track as it's very edited. I want the whole damn thing!

If you can stream radio online, I'll be playing it this afternoon on 102.9 WMGK at 4:15pm ET (www.wmgk.com)

The melody line of the verse sort of reminds me of "My Brave Face".
Sounds a little like XTC too. I know that sounds weird in light of the fact that XTC sort of sounds like McCartney -mk |

Very upfront and dry. I like the stereo interplay on the lead guitars (the left one sounds almost Drive My Car-ish). Looking forward to hearing the full track.

You made a point! The guitar licks keep "sewing" the track all over...although it's short, dunno if it's just its "feel" but I hear a bit of Getting Better riffs in the chorus. At least, the guitar sound is similar. |
