Promo Only CSG Cut LPs, stock release was not CSG

So I found a WLP yesterday of The Gilded Palace of Sin on A & M and it is stickered with a CSG blurb and has unique deadwax as well (apears to have been cut at the same exact time as my stock copy on the Gold label , both are Monarch, and share the exact same scripting etc except the promo has CSG in the prefix and is slightly different in handwriting (same persons writing, just not the exact same cut)

It actually sounds great, but I was curious if this was a one off or a A&M policy or if any other labels did this.

I just found out that Boyce + Hart's '69 LP "It's All Happening On The Inside" was also releaased with CSG processing on the promos (A+M Records release).
