I was browsing through Paul's RAM sessions pictures thread started sometime ago and thought of starting one for George. I haven't seen too many pictures of him in the studio apart from the Beatles days.

Anyone want to take the lead in putting up some pictures? How about starting chronologically with some from the All Things Must Pass or Apple artist sessions?

Hmmmm...closest thing I can think of is that picture of him & Pete Bennett where they're standing in front of a tape machine, supposedly during the mix of Concert For Bangladesh.George's hair and beard are REALLY long in this picture...

I don't have anywhere near as many solo Beatles photos digitized compared to the Beatles era, but I'll take a shot with a few pictures of George from around the All Things Must Pass era.
George with promo man Pete Bennett in the first three, and he's cropped out of the picture with Phil Spector. It's from the All Things Must pass era, not The Concert For Bangladesh era. George's hair was shorter by then but his beard was scragglier. In the color photo George is with Mal Evans.

There's another photo somewhere that used to be in several books (and newspapers at time of ATMP release) showing GH and some of the sessions players posed in the control room...but can't find it tonite!

With Pete Drake, Ringo and Billy Preston. They might be working on ' All Thing Must Pass', 'Behind That Closed Door' or 'I Live For You'.
Who's the guy sitting on the floor?

Could the guy on the floor be Nicky Hopkins?
I thought he was credited on the album.

Kinda looks like Frampton as he was on those sessions too.

My first thought was the guy on the floor looks like Peter Frampton.

But I'd want to compare with other photos of him from that era before I finalize my guess.

Wow, he's playing a Gibson ES-5 "Switchmaster" with three P-90s. Cool.

George looks very frail in all these pictures. Extremely thin and gaunt. How was his health at that time ?
