Apileocole, I hope you don't mind if I compare one of your pictures posted today.

The photo of Nat King Cole jogged my memory of a shot I had seen of Sammy Davis, Jr.

I believe that could be Nat King Cole in front of the Lord Calvert Hotel in Miami, Florida.
Compare the leaning palm tree trunk in both pictures, and the shape of the windows and doors. They are the same in my view. (the palm to the left of Sammy; and the palm to the far right of Nat that goes out of the photo)

Here's another photo I took at Ira Gitler's 80th, last December. That's Teddy Charles on the sofa with Helen Merrill seated on the arm. The lady in green is Lorraine Gordon, Michael Cuscuna is up front, next to her, and Hank Jones seems to be peeking out from behind somebody's bosom.

Again, it was a great dinner party in the home of the Luce (Time/Life) family.
