Fooled ya. :D I just shine an LED light from Ikea through my orange pressing of Ryan Adams Easy Tiger and it illuminates the clear acrylic base. Cool effect, huh?

Beautiful table. With no disrespect to Sirius, I'd like to see their data that says that they can measure repeatibly and reproducibly a speed accuracy of 0.00000001 percent; that is, a statistically valid measurement system analysis on the gauge or metrology that they use to detect differences of such small magnitude. For example, can they detect the difference between accuracy of 0.00000001%, and accuracy of 0.00000002% with statistical power? Or even a difference in accuracy of 0.00000001% vs 0.00000010%?

Here's my vintage Rega Planar with SME III tonearm and an interim Grado Prestige 1 Blue installed (it now has it's Grace F9 Ruby installed again after a Soundsmith retipping...)

Here's my Michell Gyro SE MKII with SME V arm and cryo'd Grado Reference Sonata:

It does sound good, particularly now that the Grace Ruby is back on it. The GrooveTracer Refernce platter made a big improvement in lowering the noise floor. Also have the new Rega 50 Hz Motor upgrade. Putting the table on "roller bearings" and an inner tube have also helped it markedly. The Grace is very detailed. I just need to get a Grover's phono cable for it to really make it sing. That said, the Gyro SE/SME V/Reference Sonata sounds better; a fuller sound and more dimensional imaging. At some point I will put the Grace in the Gyro/SME V to see how that sounds.

I believe they're on stands...if not, it looks like there's enough clearance.

Take a look at the amps. They stop where the gold corners touch the acrylic stands. The stands are from Custom Isolation Products out of Houston Texas. They incorporate spikes for the carpet. I had them custom cut to fit the Shanling amps.

Thanks! Nothing compared to most here, but she's mine for ~25 years now and still going strong. Made in Japan of course ;)
