I don't want to thread crap, but there was a thread on the Snopes forum that suggests the Ken album is a hoax.

who does that extra "hot dog" belong to, was that just wishful thinking, maybe Neil Young wisely "pulled out" of this project?

Honestly, I've always wanted to hear what these guys sound like. Has anyone one here ever?

From the OP's link, this one takes the cake IMHO.

The caption in the link is "I'm afraid to think what turning 16 here means....."

The looks on each person's face says it all. For me, this quickly went from hilarious to horrifying.

So I'm guessing the label dropped him?

  14. I held this one in my hands 2 weeks ago at the Atlanta record show,
the vinyl was too beat-up to play and enjoy, so I put it back.
Didn't realise that it was famous!

Honest!! I started reading this post while listening to Eat To the Beat. Steve's pictures started coming up just as Blondie started to scream during Victor. Hilarious coincidence!!

My only question is, what happened to the other volumes:

  18. I would buy that Waffle house cd, I have played 6-10 of their
restaurant themed singles on their jukeboxes over the years.

Don't know if this ever made the web site or the books. The guy to the far right is Steve Kipner of Tin Tin fame (produced by Maurice Gibb) who went on to be a very successful songwriter. Oh the things you have to do...

Stealer's Wheel. Nice song Stuck in the Middle with You. But they look like they're over for a slumber party in animal PJs. Almost embarassing to buy.

Zalman Yanovsky Alive and Well in Argentina. I think I thought it was a comedy album. I think I'm one of the 2 people who ever bought this and kept it. Definitely in one of the best condition of all my LPs.

L7 Hungry for Stink gives me the creeps. I bought the L7 but definitely not John Zorn's Naked City (not pictured) that would give me nightmares and a section of the CD drawer I would not want to open.

I love that Steelers Wheel cover. Weren't their albums done by "Patrick" their artist friend?

I just pulled the Stealer's Wheel LP. On the back it says
Illustration: Patrick. Art Direction: Mike Doud, London.
No clue about the others since this was the only one I bought.
