 I thought this thread was about bootleg DCC discs that may be sold on eBay or something like that.

I was wondering why all these cool looking DCC avatars were popping up.

Thank you Branden :) It took a while!

How true! It's incredible that album has only been on CD as half of an EMI UK two-fer... with the overdubbed comp Looking Back, to make it even odder.

This DCC by the by includes the two unreleased songs from the original Where Did Everyone Go? sessions, in original form of course. :) Humbled and glad to have done it, thank you Ron.

...But often my eyes take a diff'rnt shine...

Hey guys, I just created a new category in Smugmug called "MoFi/DCC Mockups", where i've transferred all of the ones that have been posted here in case this thread has to go bye-bye. http://recordlabels.smugmug.com/gallery/1882377/1 Password: "labels" (no quotation marks).

Hey, can someone do the original Chicago's Greatest Hits on DCC?

Another wish, a Steve mastered Gone For the Day by June Christy. Fortunately, there is a CD and it isn't bad, thanks yet again going to Micheal Cuscuana (it's just not exactly Steve quality).

A thank you note to Grant for archiving these at smugmug.

    Hey Branden

The font for the song titles on the Rocks CD was plain old 26-point Arial.

I'd just like to add that all you guys are doing some incredible work. Fantastic :righton:

Actually, these are MoFi's I had already finished before I started in on the DCCs. Thought it'd be a shame just to waste 'em ;)

The first two Allman Bros. albums. I'd really like to see these get the proper treatment :agree:
Actually, these would make a nice two-fer like they did with Beginnings. But unlike MoFi, DCC never did any two-fers, or did they?

It's pure speculation, but judging by how popular the other Allman titles were, and how bad the original Allman Brothers Band cd sounded, I'd say something happened to the OMTs on these. But we can dream!

Don't we still need DCC Gold discs for Yellow Submarine and Magical Mystery Tour? How about the Red Album 1962-1966 and The Blue Album 1967-1970? Wouldn't the last two be great to have? Dennis

:D ooo That's the Goldfrapp I'd pick for the treatment too :)

Old friends Elvis C. and Ice recently had a falling out during the sessions for their proposed collaborative lp. It turns out that Ice was unhappy when Costello reneged on an earlier promise to record their collaboration immediately after Elvis finished his lp with Anne-Sofie von Otter; Costello changed his recording schedule to accomodate Marion McPartland instead. Then, when the two finally caught up with each other in the studio, they had a disagreement over what the final song on the album should be. Costello wanted to do "My Funny Valentine," but Ice insisted on a classic medley of "Let a Ho Be a Ho"/"Came in the Door Pimpin"/"I'm Your Pimp"/"Doggystyle" (Mobb Deep, Dave Hollister, Too Short, and Snoop, respectively).

The estrangement between the two is pretty bad. When Audio Fidelity finally finishes completing Ice's "Hard To Swallow" reissue (BTW, what's the latest excuse for the delay this time?), it's unlikely Elvis C. will be asked to contribute to the liner notes for that one, too.
