I've been working on such esoteric stuff recently. This should be an easy one (I hope). WB sez British De Lane Lea mixes were delivered to RTI yesterday..

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Steve, what do you mean by esoteric stuff?

Can you elaborate a little bit more?

    TIA

Complete set of MK II. Way to Go! Thanks indeed. :righton:

( No One's bothered about the Concerto are they?)

Is this going to include Demon's Eye instead of Strange Kind of Woman, Steve?- I would guess so as you have the UK masters, right?

Fantastic news, what everybody has been waiting for.

I have just purchased the last three, but waiting for In Rock and Who Do We Think We Are to arrive in the mail.
I got Machine Head last week and it is the best sounding CD version I have ever heard, so can't wait to hear the others and also Fireball when it comes out.

I just found out that Audio Fidelity also released Made In Japan but that CD is long out-of-print. Did Steve master that one as well?
I see it on ebay selling for over £650 pounds.
I don't suppose there is any chance of AF doing a re-pressing of that title in the future?

Perhaps you mean DCC, not AF.

DCC, not AF. (I know it's hard to follow all this stuff as we don't see them very often in the UK).

I like the idea of announcing the title when it's about to be mastered.

Sorry, the slipcase looked the same as the AF slipcase's, so I just presumed it was an AF.

I think AF will reissue the US album.

The original EMI sounds okay... the EMI Anniversary remaster sounds horrible de-noised without any "Breath of Life." Beside "In Rock"... the worst Deep Purple remaster.

I'm very happy when Steve can surpass the original pressing.

By the way....that's one of the best reissues by Audio Fidelity.

Well Claus, AF don't do "bonus Tracks", so if they have the original UK masters, surely Demon's Eye is the way to go and it is the original artist's vision of their work.:) (Purple didn't like Strange kind of Woman being on Fireball, because it was already an "old song").

Unless...there is a problem with clearing it?

  24. I already updated my avatar, and I will keep that one until I have it in my hands. As a sign of Thanksgiving.
