As we all know, CD's have been reissued many times, and remastered continually as technology advances. What are some of the most notable CD's out there which sound drastically better than their earlier issues? I am not concerned with bonus tracks (which are often of dubious quality)--I am concerned with artistic integrity and conveying the best sound representation of the original recording.

Personally I think the last batch of Steely Dan reissues were the best versions I ever heard -- on CD, anyway. No bonus track nonsense, either -- just some very cool new liner notes by Becker & Fagen. They're cheeeep, too.
