To think - they actually junked the console used to record Peppers.

I know that to the people that use them, they're just tools, but you'd think they'd have just a little sense of their importance to history.

I little while ago I saw a bit on television about how Sam Phillips (?) was careful to keep the original console (and recorders?) used at Sun Studio after they were done using them. He knew their importance. :D
