Here's an article on the lot of those hardy engineers who literally travelled the globe recording music,look at the work schedules,imagine going from London to Bombay to record or Madagascar,I figure it would've made recording in 30's America seem like Hawaii compared to 1930's Bombay.
People,now these guys REALLY earned their money.
