ECM vinyl, steve tibbetts for steve H.

steve, just wondering if you heard any of the ECM releases and what you thought, and if you've ever listened to steve tibbetts? i got into him awhile back, just curious. i have 3 tibbetts albums on ECM and the original YR album on an independant label out of minneapolis. i think the ECM's sound awfully damn good myself. i compared the original to the ecm reissue of YR and i gotta say they match pretty well.

Steve Tibbetts is great. I have a number of his albums on vinyl, including 2 of his early ones on the Frammis label.

I haven't heard his most recent stuff. Yr is excellent, and the CD reissue on ECM is very good indeed. I think my favourite would have to be "Safe Journey" - the opening track is awesome.
