To those who may be interested,in 2002 after a couple of years delay,Rollercoaster Records will finally release "the holy grail" of Linkdom, the much rumoured Cadence label album.

RCCD 3032

LINK WRAY AND HIS WRAY MEN

THEY’RE OFF AND RUMBLIN’...

The album that never was – its original release was axed by musical snob and Cadence label owner, Archie Bleyer, and the tapes remained in his living room until just before his death when they were rescued by a fan. (To be released during 2000) Rumble; Pancho Villa; Walking with Link; Comanche; The Swag; Rawhide; Dance Contest; School Girl; Heartbreak Hotel; Drag Race; Rebel Rouser; Patricia; The Freeze; Missing Link (Alt); I’ll be so good to you; Window Shopping; Missing Link; White Lightnin’; Creepy; Rawhide (Alt)

I emailed RR and the boss replied...

"We tried to get it released this year, finally all the legal problems were solved to make it the complete 'Cadence album'. Hope it will be out early 2002, soon as we can get artwork etc finished. Keep an eye on the website, address below"

Thanks Cousin It, I will certainly look forward to this release. I saw Link and the Wraymen in 1964 at an outdoor concert (actually a performance in a shopping center parking lot). Got his autograph and lost it along the way, silly me. Primitive rock at it's best.
