GEORGE HARRISON TO BE KNIGHTED
Beatle George Harrison will receive the first ever posthumous Knighthood in the Queen's Birthday Honours list in June.
The award will be received by Harrison's widow Olivia in a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
It's the second honour for Harrison from the Queen.
In 1965 he was given the MBE along with the other three Beatles. But John Lennon eventually returned his award in protest at Britain's involvement in the Biafran war.
Harrison died on November 29, 2001 after a long battle against cancer.
Harrison's 1972 hit My Sweet Lord is due to be re-released by EMI in 2002.
