I just pulled this set out after god-knows-how-long of not listening to it. I have two copies, and both have VERY different disc artwork...one has what I think of as the "regular" art (as it's been on most versions I've seen), while one has this odd, nigh-crosshatched design. Neither seems to be record club. Any ideas?

There wasone limited edition LIVE Cd set tht was released ajacent to the release date. I forget the details of exactly what was in the Limited Edition, but I seem to remember an extra disc?
No, I strongly remember a LTD ED version out.

There was a mega-expensive limited edition book put out documenting the tour that included the 2-CD set as a "bonus"...same track lineup though. I'm not sure if this included any different artwork though. Is everything else (copyright, country of origin, catalog #, etc...) the same?

The limited edition had a hardback Genesis publications book with a page autographed by George and I think Eric Clapton as well. A beautiful package which I saw on ebay a few months ago. Wish I'd have gotten it...

By the way, as awful as this sounds, I think I'm gonna offload my surplus Harrison stuff now...it seems that suddenly alot of people want it.
BTW, here's a link to an auction which features the "usual" LiJ artwork (it's going for $50? YIPES!)

I looked at Ebay after reading David's post and I'm shocked how much people are bidding. $30-40 for 'Cloud Nine'? I understand that stuff goes OOP but there were so many pressings of that CD (wow) and I used to see it all the time in used shops for the average used price. I guess that the demand is so strong people don't care how much they spend. I hope that the Harrison estate (I still can't believe that's a reality now) continues the remastering plans (with DCC) with some cool bonus tracks. "Cloud 9" (great album/amazing sessions band) and his other albums should be available for anyone at a fair price. His legacy is the music...

It's amazing ... though in the course of my browsing through, I did pick up "NM" vinyl copies of "Gone Troppo" and "Cloud Nine" quite cheaply.
I've also noticed certain online retailers have jacked up the price of the recent "All Things Must Pass" LP reissue from $40-45 all the way up to $100 or more!! Jeez. I guess none of us should really be surprised, though ...

For those who did not pick up the All thing must pass vinyl reissue. Wait EMI is repressing it. Don't you just love Limited Editions.

Uhhh huh. Ooookay, that "limited edition" was limited to last year only, huh? And this repressing will be limited for this year only?
I'd think the vinyl would be the same as the CD, wouldn't it? It would just be for the collectability? Or am I wrong?

That's good news EMI's repressing more sets. I got it when the first batch came out and I think the "Limited Edition" stuff was a bit of BS. I remember Red Trumpet was saying in their e-mails that only 1,000 were being pressed... I saw it for sale at tons of online stores and record shows (every dealer seemed to have 50 of them). I hope the "honest" dealers who are trying to sell it for over $100 are not going to be upset about this news...
